Hi Daniel,

It was great to finally meet you in NYC last weekend.

I learned to knit in 1986 or so, in high school home ec class. My goal was to knit myself a pair of red leg warmers, in the round. When I went to college in 1988, I was the only person I knew who knit. There weren't many yarn choices then, and I was a poor college student, so I knit with Red Heart too. I still have the Vogue Knitting World Map sweater I knit out of acrylic. I don't wear it, but can't seem to get rid of it.

I took a break of a few years in the 2000s but pretty much, I've been a knitter over half my life now.

Thanks for this recommendation. I love math and knitting, too, so immediately went over to see if I could find this on Netflix. Turns out it's already in my "Watch Instantly" queue!
