This whimsical triangular neckerchief of parrot green is inspired by the costuming and character of Papageno, the love-lorn birdcatcher and hapless hero of Mozart's Magic Flute. Wear it as a triangular bandana, tuck the edges under your waistcoat and rock it like a cravat, or point the fringes outwards and strut your feathers!

Knit in a feathery eyelet stitch from a single skein of yarn, this is a fast and fun knit. Instructions are given both as charts and written pattern.

Finished Size:

39" x 22" (99 x 55 cm)

DK/Light worsted. Pictured in Buckwheat Bridge Angoras

22 Stitches/28 Rows = 4" (10 cm)

The basics of knitted lace - increases, decreases, and yarn-overs.
