Here are the standard abbreviations I use in my knitting

THE BASICS
k - knit
p - purl
sl - slip
Knitting in the round

i-cord - a
knitted tube made without turning. Knit one row, slide all
stitches to the other end of the needle, bring yarn behind
work, and knit the stitches again. Tutorial here

CO - cast on.
backwards loop cast-on: tutorial here from Knitty.

INCREASES
kfb - knit into the front and back of a stitch - tutorial here from the Purl Bee or here from TechKnitting.
yo - yarn over - tutorial

m1L - using the needle
in your left hand, pick up the stitch two bumps below the one
just worked and knit it - tutorial

m1R - using the needle
in your right hand, pick up the stitch one bump below the next
stitch and knit it - tutorial

DECREASES
k2tog - knit 2 together
k3tog - knit 3
together
ssk- slip 2 stitches
separately as if to knit, then knit these 2 stitches together

sssk - slip 3
stitches separately as if to knit, then knit these 3 stitches
together.
sl2-k1-p2sso - Slip 2
stitches together as if to knit 2 together. Knit the next
stitch. Pass the 2 slipped stitches over the knit stitch - tutorial here by me.
